Welcome to Autumn http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autumn the transition between summer and Winter. Those who know me are familiar with my fondness for Spring, however, a close second is the lovely Season of Autumn. Tis this time of year the boiling harsh temper of Summer soothes itself into sunny days with cool breezes, trees with leaves of brown, orange and green, neither too warm, neither too cold with a delightful breeze. It’s a time you can bike ride and exercise without the strain of the heat drenching ourselves in our own salty secretion, feeling uncomfortably hot and angry as a result. In Autumn you can still swim without feeling too cool, go for a Sunday drive and not have to use the air-conditioning, go for a walk and not have to wear a jacket. Pleasant is the operative word that comes to mind, next to Spring, Autumn is the most pleasant time of year for this girl!
Noodles, yup, the two min kind. That is what I am having for lunch today. A two min noodle sandwich. Not the most nutritional of foods and the ‘lazy way’ to lunch on a Sunday but convenient and quick.
I have cleaned out one cupboard and half packed one box and already my unit looks as though a terrorist attack has taken place. I have so much shit to pack I could house a third world country.
I am looking forward to my visit to Brisbane on Tuesday for a Crimson Coalition meeting. Things are flowing along nicely now that we have recognition from the Government and soon some funding coming through from Qld Health. I have made up 10 packs for outreach here on the Gold Coast and very much looking forward to doing that.
I have announced my first tour for this year to be in Sydney in April I do hope it is not too cool for me then I don’t much like going South too much past April.
Has anyone noticed the concentrated tiny packets of laundry powder supermarkets are now selling? I am not sure how I feel about this, although if it is to cut costs and save on packaging I guess I can understand that.
I was going to wash my hair today but have decided that will be one of tomoz tasks.
Reading a little Philosophy last night I came across this:
As a general rule the most successful person, is the person who has the best information.
Ignorance never settles a question.
It is knowledge that influences and equalises the social condition of humans.
Benjamin Disraeli (1804-81)
I am going to apply the above in some way very soon.
I went grocery shopping today and in the car park I exposed my right boob. There was a middle aged woman that was far less than impressed, I have decided that some people need to have more sex.
So, who named it Vagina and why?
As the sands run through the hour glass………..
